Job hunting, no bueno.

Lesson of the day: job hunting is hard, very very hard. It consumes lots and lots of time too.

I've been looking for possible jobs for the summer here in Duluth and am not having much luck. I have some ideas of places where I would like to work but I am not sure how it's going to work out because of transportation.

Blargh! I have considered the movie theater, various hotels and even fast food restaurants. I want something fun and interesting that I won't get bored of easily. Since I am a college student I shouldn't be so picky but I can't really help it.

I was lucky with the Buffalo Cinema. It was one of two applications that I turned in at the end of 10th grade and they called me back and set up in interview withing two weeks. The other place I turned in an application to also called me back. It was easier then why can't it be easy now?

There is one job opening that I am sure is still open but I don't know if I could really do it. The UMD Art department is in need of nude models. Pays $15 an hour and you would work about 6-8 hours a week. Not bad if I do say so myself, but could I really do it? Probably not.

Lets hope it gets easier when summer gets closer. I'd like to stay in Duluth this summer but that would only work if I get a job.
