Divine guidance.

Lesson of the day: think a little deeper than you have to. It could be good for you.

Saw Christopher Nolan's latest, Inception, last night. So good that I'd say it made best film of the year. Crazy interesting plot line. Leo DiCaprio plays the main character Cobb. He and his team enter the human mind through dream invasion to steal secrets that are locked away in the subconscious. This part of the mind is most vulnerable during dreaming.

Cobb is asked to plant an idea instead of stealing an idea, which is much more dangerous. When you plant an idea you run the risk of it being inauthentic when you really want it to be genuine. It has to feel like it was genuinely inspired by the dreamer in order for it to be successful.

genuine
gen-u-ine - adj
not fake or conterfeit; sincerely felt or expressed

inspiration
in-spi-ra-tion - noun
divine guidance; arousal of the mind to special or unusual activity or creativity; a product of your creative thinking and work

So what is it really to be "genuinely inspired"? Of the approximate 70,000 thoughts the average human brain has in a day, how many of them are really genuinely inspired?
